Category:Mesopotamian cuisineAn eight-year-old boy who survived a hellish ordeal in a tropical rainforest has inspired a new batch of Australians to raise money for the families of missing and murdered Indigenous Australians, after his heartwarming plea for help.
Chef de Villeneuve Justin Bethel-Hunt, who joined police searching for the missing three-year-old boy, decided to organise a fundraiser after seeing the video and reading the story of little Jericho Love, who was found alive after surviving 26 days in a "very hostile" environment.
"He was just a really friendly boy, he didn't know too much," Mr Bethel-Hunt told the ABC's AM program.
"He was very confident in himself and his body, his size and his strength."
The Canberra man helped police with the search for the boy, who was found after spending 26 days in the unforgiving wilderness.
Mr Bethel-Hunt and the child's mother, Sarah, were last seen leaving a family function at a Canberra pub on September 24.

Police said Sarah Love was believed to have been driving the children's older brother's family 4WD when it broke down on the New South Wales south coast.
The family was eventually found on November 15, after the nine-year-old's parents asked for help from the community.
The three-year-old was found alive on Thursday, and his parents and the older brother were found dead days later.
A forensic artist told the ABC the bodies of the parents and older brother were found at separate locations, while the three-year-old was found within a 30-metre radius of his mother and brother.
Mr Bethel-Hunt said the family had told him they were worried they would never be able to hold their son again.
"It's very tragic, it breaks your heart and I just thought that in some ways, maybe we need to be able to do something for these families, to try and give back some bit of that for them," he said.
"I just want to say, 'it's okay, this is not forever'."
